Rep. Lois Frankel, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida's 22nd District, took to social media on March 25, 2025, to express her concerns and actions regarding gender equality and healthcare rights. Frankel, who has been an advocate for equal pay and women's rights throughout her career, highlighted recent legislative efforts and critiqued current policies impacting women.

On March 25, 2025, Rep. Lois Frankel announced a new resolution she co-introduced with fellow representatives Rosa DeLauro, Nikema Williams, Teresa Leger Fernandez, and over 120 Democratic colleagues. The resolution recognizes Equal Pay Day and reaffirms their commitment to fighting for equal pay for equal work. "That’s why @rosadelauro, @RepNikema, @RepTeresaLF, and I, alongside over 120 of our Democratic colleagues, introduced a resolution recognizing #EqualPayDay and reaffirming our fight for equal pay for equal work."

In another statement made on the same day via social media, Rep. Frankel emphasized the importance of equal pay as a matter of fairness and justice while pointing out the widening gender wage gap after two decades of progress. She expressed disappointment in this regression stating that it is "unacceptable." "Equal pay is not only a matter of fairness and justice—it’s essential for creating a more equitable and prosperous world."

Later that day, Rep. Frankel criticized former President Donald Trump's approach to controlling Congressionally-appropriated funding related to healthcare decisions affecting women. She condemned what she described as a "cruel" decision that would have severe consequences on women's health care autonomy across the country. "Women will die from this cruel, reckless decision."
