She emphasized how this policy restricts U.S. global health funding for international organizations that provide abortion services or reproductive health care information using their own resources: "The Global Gag Rule is a cruel attack on women’s health; it blocks U.S. global health funding to international organizations that use their own money to provide abortion services or even simply share reproductive health care information with their patients."
