Representative Lois Frankel, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 22nd district, has voiced significant concerns through a series of tweets. These posts highlight her stance on critical issues such as public health staffing, vaccine funding, and disaster response, reflecting her ongoing commitment to public service and policy evaluation.

On March 27, 2025, Representative Frankel expressed her strong disapproval of potential staffing cuts in public service sectors. According to her tweet at 15:05, "Firing thousands of career public servants—not political appointees—who track infectious diseases, inspect food and hospitals, and oversee health insurance programs for half the country isn’t just reckless. It’s dangerous. And it won’t lower our costs."

In another tweet on the same day at 16:07, she addressed her concern about funding cuts for vaccine programs. She stated, "Illegally gutting funding approved by Congress for lifesaving vaccine programs does more than turn our back on the world. It fuels the spread of disease and weakens America's ability to respond when sickness reaches us here at home."

Later, at 17:43, Representative Frankel discussed the importance of FEMA in disaster preparedness and response, particularly for Florida. She warned against reducing FEMA's role, noting, "Florida is battered by natural disasters every year, and we’ve seen firsthand FEMA’s role in helping our communities prepare and rebuild. Why would we want to take that away? When the next storm hits, our communities could be left unprepared and unsafe."
