Lois Frankel, a seasoned U.S. Congress member representing Florida’s 22nd District, recently shared her views on issues ranging from senior citizens' access to benefits to the importance of foreign assistance and promoting young artists. Serving in Congress since 2013, Frankel has a long history in public service and law, having graduated from Boston University and Georgetown University.

On March 26, 2025, Frankel addressed the challenges faced by seniors who are required to appear in person to access their benefits. She expressed her concerns stating "Forcing seniors—many of whom face mobility or health challenges—to appear in person to access their benefits isn't just inconvenient, it's unrealistic." Emphasizing the need for accessible services, she advocated for fewer obstacles for seniors.

Later that day, at 18:28 UTC, Frankel turned her attention to foreign aid. In a tweet, she highlighted the risks of neglecting foreign assistance: "Turning our backs on foreign assistance weakens our global standing, undermines our national security, and puts our own health at risk." She emphasized the global nature of diseases like HIV and malaria that transcend borders.

At 20:34 UTC on the same day, Frankel invited young artists to participate in an art competition organized by Congress. Her message read "Every spring, Congress highlights talented young local artists through an art competition." She encouraged high school students in Palm Beach County (#PBC) to apply by April 14th for a chance to have their artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol.
