Lois Frankel, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Florida's 22nd district, has recently addressed several pressing international issues through her social media posts. Frankel, who has been serving in Congress since 2013 after replacing Allen West, shared her perspectives on the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the situation involving Israel and Hamas, and restrictions on global health programs.

On February 19, 2025, Frankel expressed her stance on the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. She stated that "Russia attacked Ukraine—not the other way around. Let’s be clear: Ukraine is defending its sovereignty against Putin’s aggression." Her message was marked with the hashtag #StandWithUkraine.

In another post dated February 20, 2025, Frankel commented on a tragic event involving Israeli citizens. She noted that "Today is a heartbreaking reminder of Hamas’s brutality, as Israel receives the bodies of Kfir, Ariel, and Shiri Bibas, and Oded Lifshitz." She extended her condolences to their families and acknowledged the loss of innocent life.

Later that day on February 20th, Frankel called for action regarding global health initiatives alongside Rep. Grace Meng. She urged for an end to certain restrictions by stating "That’s why @RepGraceMeng and I are urging the Trump Admin to lift the restrictions nowon these lifesaving programs." The tweet highlighted hashtags #GlobalHealth and #FamilyPlanning.
