Lois Frankel addresses cultural celebration and crises in recent tweets

Rep. Lois Frankel, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida's 22nd district, has recently shared several messages on social media addressing various topics. Her posts reflect on cultural celebrations, express condolences for a tragic event, and acknowledge an international humanitarian development.

On January 29, 2025, Rep. Frankel marked the Lunar New Year by honoring Asian-American communities. She stated: "As we welcome the Lunar New Year, we honor the vibrant traditions and contributions of our Asian-American communities." She extended her wishes for a joyful and prosperous Year of the Snake to those celebrating in Palm Beach County and nationwide.

The following day, January 30, 2025, she expressed her sorrow over an airplane crash in Washington D.C., saying: "My heart goes out to all the victims of the horrific airplane crash over Washington D.C. last night." She also acknowledged the efforts of first responders who worked through the night.

Later that same day, Rep. Frankel welcomed news regarding hostages held by Hamas: "Grateful to see the release of 8 more hostages today--Agam, Arbel, Bannawat, Gadi, Pongsak, Sathian, and Surasak, Watchara--three Israeli citizens and five Thai citizens." She emphasized her commitment to ensuring all hostages return home safely.
