Rep. Lois Frankel, currently serving in the U.S. Congress and representing Florida’s 22nd district, has recently taken to social media to share her legislative efforts and advocacy for women's rights. Her recent posts cover a variety of topics, including the introduction of new legislation and honoring influential figures in women's rights.

On January 29, 2025, Rep. Frankel announced the introduction of the Global HER Act alongside colleagues including Jan Schakowsky, Ami Bera, Grace Meng, Norma Torres, and over 100 others. The bill aims to permanently repeal what is known as the Global Gag Rule and promote healthier communities worldwide. She stated: "Today, I’m proud to introduce the Global HER Act with @janschakowsky, @RepBera, @RepGraceMeng, @NormaJTorres, and 100+ of my colleagues to permanently repeal the harmful Global Gag Rule and promote healthier, more prosperous communities worldwide."

In another post on January 29th at the same time as her previous announcement about the Global HER Act, she expressed concern over restrictions affecting women's healthcare choices globally. She emphasized that every woman deserves autonomy over her healthcare decisions amid rising threats such as conflict-related sexual violence: "Every woman, no matter where she lives, deserves the freedom to make her own health care choices. At a time of rising threats to women's safety and well-being—including conflict-related sexual violence—the Global Gag Rule is a cruel and dangerous step backward."

Later on January 29th at 18:26 UTC, Rep. Frankel paid tribute to Lilly Ledbetter's contributions towards workplace equality for women by marking the first anniversary of a significant bill named after Ledbetter without her presence this year: "Lilly Ledbetter’s fight for women’s rights in the workplace was a fight for all women. As we mark the first anniversary of the bill that bears her name without her, we honor her tremendous legacy and reaffirm our commitment to equal pay and economic security for all women."
