City Of Greenacres issued the following announcement on Dec. 17.
With the help of the American Red Cross, Greenacres Fire Rescue installed 42 smoke detectors in 21 homes throughout the Lago Palma community this morning.
Red Cross volunteers, #GreenacresFireRescue Fire Marshal, Assistant Fire Marshal and other personnel assisted with the installs and educated the residents on #FireSafety.
Fire Rescue reminds you to change the batteries in your smoke detectors twice a year.
