4th of July Celebration Event Information & Road Closures

The Lake Worth Beach 4th of July Celebration returns to Bryant Park this July 4th. Sponsored by Oldies 95.9/106.9FM and WPTV Channel 5 the public are invited to enjoy a day of live music, craft vendors, a kid's area, the 21st annual Great American Raft Race, and the best Fireworks Show in South Florida!

The day starts with the Raft Parade at 10am (starting at J Street heading East on Lake Ave and ending at Bryant Park)

At noon the Great American Raft Race launches from the Bryant Park Boat Ramps.

At 5pm DJ Mike Locke kicks off the party followed by 30HZ at 5:30PM and No Filter at 7:30pm.

At 9pm we light up the sky with our Fireworks Show Presented by Oldies 95.9/ 106.9FM!

To safely accommodate the celebrations the following road and boat ramp closures are in effect.

-S. Lakeside Drive and 1st Avenue South Closure

On Monday, July 4th South Lakeside Drive and 1st Avenue South. will be closed from Noon-9pm. To enter east into Bryant Park traffic will have to enter east on Lakeside Drive and 2nd Avenue South. Traffic will only be able to exit west on 1st Avenue South and Lakeside Drive. Golfview Southbound will also be closed for entry.

-Boat Ramp Closure

Lake Worth Beach, Florida- The 21st Annual Great American Raft Race will take place in Bryant Park as part of the City of Lake Worth 4th of July celebrations. This year’s theme is “Dr. Seuss”. The race is preceded by a parade of competitors down Lake Avenue to Bryant Park starting at 10:00am. The race itself starts at Noon. The Great American Raft Race is organized by the Neighborhood Association Presidents Council and is an opportunity for local groups to take part in friendly competition and celebrate life in the quirky City by the Sea.

Please note that in order to accommodate the race the City will be closing down the Bryant Park boat ramps on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 9:00pm and will reopen them on Monday, July 4, 2022 at 10:00 p.m.

-Lake Worth Bridge Closure

The Annual July 4th Fireworks Display (Presented by: Oldies 95.9/ 106.9FM) will be taking place in the City of Lake Worth Beach on July 4th, 2022 at 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM approximate. In preparation for the display and deployment of the fireworks the Lake Worth (Robert Harris) Bridge will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM (approximate) but will remain open prior to these times. Even though the Lake Worth (Robert Harris) Bridge will be closed during the fireworks display all emergency vehicles will be allowed access where necessary.

All vehicles wanting to access the Lake Worth Bridge will detoured on Federal Hwy to 2nd Ave North then east bound to Bridge. Once the bridge is closed for the fireworks display all bridge traffic will be detoured north bound on Federal Hwy to access the Southern Blvd Bridge. All traffic on A1A will be detoured either north to the Southern Blvd Bridge or south to the Lantana Bridge.

There will be barricades, detour signs and PBSO deputies to assist with the detours and the closure of the Lake Worth Bridge.
