South Palm Beach Today

On Monday, May 30, the City of Boca Raton Recreation Services Department will host a Memorial Day Ceremony and Concert in the Park to honor America’s fallen war heroes. Both events are FREE and OPEN to the public.

The Ceremony is 9am - 10am, at the Boca Raton Cemetery (451 SW 4th Ave). The ceremony will feature community speakers and city officials, reserved seating for Gold Star families, NJROTC and Honor Guards drills, and music from the Fort Lauderdale Highlanders, Coastmen Chorus and Krescendo Brass.

The Concert takes place at Mizner Park Amphitheater (590 Plaza Real) from 7pm - 8:30pm (doors open at 6pm). Enjoy a FREE concert under the stars with the band Krescendo, for an evening of spirited patriotic and American favorites. Attendees can bring chairs and blankets. There will be $5 chair rentals available, FREE for active military and veterans. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

City Offices Close and Sanitation Changes

In observance of Memorial Day, City offices and services will be closed on Monday, May 30, 2022.

Sanitation Schedule Changes

There will be no sanitation service on Monday, May 30.

• Monday, May 30 collection will be a day LATER on Tuesday, May 31
• Tuesday, May 31 collection will be a day LATER on Wednesday, June 1
