City Of Lake Worth Beach recently issued the following announcement.
During and after a hurricane there is a high potential for outages to cause traffic signals to stop working. In this scenario it is important to remember the following points:
Flashing Red - Lights should be treated as a Stop Sign.
Flashing Yellow - Drivers should proceed with caution as traffic permits.
No Signal Light - Lights should be treated as a 4-way stop.
In the case of a 4-way stop please follow these rules:
Traffic from all four directions must stop.
The 1st vehicle to arrive has the right of way.
If multiple vehicles arrive at the same time, the driver on the furthest left yields.
