Join us for our FREE EcoWatch Lecture Series!

Out of Sight, but Not Out of Mind:

Tracking Neonate Sea Turtles on the High Seas

with Dr. Jeanette Wyneken, Director FAU Marine Science Labratory at

Gumbo Limbo Nature Center

• Thursday, April 7

• 6:30-8:00 pm

• Downtown Boca Library

• Free!

• Reservations are suggested to assure space for you or your group. Please call (561)544-8605 to reserve.

• Adults and children 13 and up; children/minors must participate with an adult.

Discover in one short evening, the mysteries of the sea turtle “lost years” that Dr. Wyneken and her teams have been researching for many long years!

Before satellite tracking, it was nearly impossible to determine what the first couple years of life held for hatchling sea turtles after that frantic dash from the safety of their nests to the open ocean. Satellite tracking has begun to unravel the mystery. Find out how.
