Wilky Denaud is entering his redshirt junior year with the Florida Atlantic University football team, according to an April 3 announcement. Denaud, who hails from Stuart, Florida, has seen his responsibilities on the defensive line increase each season since joining the team.
The announcement highlights that Denaud finished the previous season with 30 tackles, five tackles for loss, and three sacks. This year, he will transition from playing at the edge of the defensive line to a new position on the interior under Defensive Tackles Coach and Run Game Coordinator Devin Santana.
Fans have been given a behind-the-scenes look at Denaud’s preparations through a feature where he was mic’d up during spring practice. The program also announced that its spring roster and coaching staff information are available online.
Florida Atlantic University has begun selling tickets for its upcoming football season. Tickets start at $75 per seat plus a $5 processing fee, with premium seating options also offered. Additional details are available through FAUSports.com or by contacting the university’s ticket office.
In addition to player updates and ticket sales, Head Football Coach Zach Kittley will host “Ladies Night” on April 23 at the Schmidt Family Complex in Boca Raton. The event includes shopping opportunities, a silent auction, dinner and drinks, as well as interactive drills with coaches and players. Admission is set at $125 for individuals or $225 per pair.
The broader implications of these announcements suggest ongoing efforts by Florida Atlantic University to engage fans and provide opportunities for community involvement while supporting their student-athletes’ development.
