On Wednesday, March 19, former Wellington High School standout Nelia Peralta’s current college team, the Auburn Tigers, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the South Alabama Jaguars.
The game took place at Jane B. Moore Field. This was their first matchup against the Jaguars this season.
The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 4 p.m. at Red & Charline McCombs Field against Texas Longhorns.
