Wellington High School standout Kate DeSimone’s collegiate team wins game in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship on Sunday, May 25

On Sunday, May 25, former Wellington High School standout Kate DeSimone’s current collegiate team the Tampa Spartans won 4-2 against the Pace Setters in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Jim Frost Stadium at 1:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Pace Setters in the tournament.

The Tampa Spartans’ next game will take place on Tuesday, May 27 at 11 a.m. at Jim Frost Stadium.
