Villanova falls 15-5 to Florida Atlantic as Finnvold surrenders 6 runs

Villanova Wildcats, featuring former American Heritage School of Boca/Delray star Carsten Finnvold, took a 15-5 defeat against the Florida Atlantic Owls in NCAA Division I baseball on Sunday, March 1, at 12 p.m.

FAU Stadium hosted the contest, marking the third meeting between the two teams this season. The Wildcats also lost the previous game against the Owls on Saturday, Feb. 28, with a score of 11-5.

Finnvold gave up six earned runs in 0.2 innings, walking one batter.

Villanova is scheduled to play next on Wednesday, March 4, at 6:05 p.m. when they visit Dusty Rhodes Field at Harmon Stadium to take on the North Florida Ospreys.
