Kate DeSimone, former Wellington High School softball player will compete with her collegiate team for the NCAA D2 Softball Championship

Former Wellington High School player and current Tampa Spartans pitcher, Kate DeSimone, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number three seed against the sixth seeded Alabama Huntsville Chargers.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
