Donna Klein Jewish Academy issued the following announcement on Mar. 24.
Yesterday, we had the privilege of welcoming Tamir Goodman to our campus to speak to our middle and high school students. Tamir is a former American-Israeli basketball player who has been dubbed by Sports Illustrated as the “Jewish Jordan”.
Our students were captivated by his motivational life story about growing up in an orthodox Baltimore community and eventually signing to play with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
It was a wonderful afternoon celebrating a successful and inspirational member of the Jewish community.
