Round two of Gator Invitational suspended; FAU men’s golf to resume play Sunday

Florida Atlantic University’s men’s golf team is currently in 18th place at the Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Florida, with a team score of +28. The second round was suspended due to darkness and will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday. The final round will start immediately after the completion of the second round.

Guilherme Grinberg leads the Owls’ performance so far. After an opening round score of 73 (+3), he is two under par with one hole remaining in his second round and is tied for 24th place. NaShawn Tyson has also contributed to the team’s effort, standing at +1 in his second round, which included four birdies.

Once the team finishes their remaining holes on Sunday morning, they will begin the final round with a staggered shotgun start from the 13th hole.
