Rep. Lois Frankel, who represents Florida’s 22nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of statements on her social media account addressing health care access and legislative action in the United States.
On October 9, 2025, Frankel highlighted the work of a local organization, stating, “.@ThePromiseFund is helping women across South Florida access life-saving breast and cervical cancer screenings. I’m proud to have secured federal funding to help them keep growing their work and supporting more women in our community.”
Later that day, she addressed national health care concerns, posting, “Millions of Americans are on the verge of losing their health care because Speaker Johnson refuses to bring the House back to work. I joined my colleagues in urging him to call everyone to the negotiating table to protect affordable health care for families across the US.”
On October 10, 2025, Frankel posted a brief message: “Enough is enough.”
Frankel has represented Florida’s 22nd district in Congress since 2013, after replacing Allen West. She previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 1986 to 2002. Born in New York City in 1948, Frankel is 74 years old and currently resides in West Palm Beach. She holds a BA from Boston University and a JD from Georgetown University.
