Born in New York City in 1948 and currently residing in West Palm Beach at age 74, Lois Frankel has had an extensive career including serving in the Florida House of Representatives from 1986 to 2002 before her tenure in Congress. She holds a BA from Boston University (1970) and a JD from Georgetown University (1973).
