On June 4, 2025, Frankel expressed her gratitude for joining the Holocaust Memorial Council at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. She emphasized the importance of preserving the lessons of the Holocaust amidst rising antisemitism, stating “I’m deeply honored to join the @HolocaustMuseum’s Holocaust Memorial Council and help carry forward its mission to keep the lessons of the Holocaust alive.”
Later that day, she commented on fiscal policy concerning former President Trump’s proposed legislation. Criticizing its financial implications, she noted “Trump’s ‘big, beautiful bill’ will add $2.4 trillion to the national debt.” Frankel referenced analysis by nonpartisan budget experts to support her claims.
In another tweet from June 4th, Frankel highlighted diplomatic relations with Jordan. She underscored Jordan’s role as a strategic partner in Middle Eastern security efforts and described her meeting with Ambassador Dina Kawar as productive. She stated “Jordan is a vital and reliable U.S. security partner in the Middle East.”
Born in New York City in 1948 and residing in West Palm Beach, Lois Frankel has an extensive political career which includes service in both state and federal legislatures. Her educational background includes degrees from Boston University and Georgetown University.
