The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office announced on March 9 that its Traffic Division will conduct a DUI Saturation Patrol in the Village of Royal Palm Beach from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.

The operation aims to increase road safety by targeting impaired drivers and enforcing traffic laws during nighttime hours.

According to the announcement, deputies will focus on high-visibility enforcement of all traffic violations, with particular attention given to identifying and removing impaired drivers from local roads.

DUI saturation patrols are commonly used by law enforcement agencies as a strategy to deter driving under the influence and reduce accidents related to impaired driving. These efforts often involve increased police presence and checkpoints during times when incidents of impaired driving are statistically more likely.

The sheriff’s office encourages all motorists to drive responsibly and reminds the public that such patrols are part of ongoing efforts to keep the community safe.
