Authorities announced on Apr. 6 that Tamika McGlashan was arrested following an investigation into a series of package thefts throughout Palm Beach County. The case began on March 30, when law enforcement started looking into reports of a serial “porch pirate” suspected of stealing delivered packages from various residences.

The issue is significant as it highlights the ongoing problem of package thefts affecting local residents, with deliveries being targeted at private homes.

Investigators identified McGlashan as the suspect and established probable cause to search a residence in Lake Worth. On April 3, officers executed a search warrant at the location, resulting in McGlashan’s arrest. During the search, authorities recovered numerous stolen items connected to several active investigations.

Officials said that the investigation remains active and ongoing as they continue to link recovered property to reported thefts. McGlashan was booked into Palm Beach County Jail on related charges.

The case reflects continued efforts by law enforcement to address property crimes impacting communities.
