Oberlin Yeomen edge Asbury Eagles 5-4 in NCAA Division III baseball, led by Palm Beach Central alum

At 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, former Palm Beach Central High School standout Kyle Baxt helped the Oberlin Yeomen secure a 5-4 victory over the Asbury Eagles in their NCAA Division III baseball matchup.

Cecil Zweifel Field served as the venue for the contest. This marked the teams’ second meeting of the season, with the Yeomen previously prevailing 6-5 earlier that same day.

Baxt delivered five hits in five plate appearances and brought in two runs.

The Yeomen are set to play next on Wednesday, March 4, at 3:30 p.m. at Nobby’s Ballpark, taking on the Case Western Reserve Spartans.
