On June 18, 2025, Rep. Frankel emphasized the need for swift action by the Administration to assist Americans stranded in Israel. She stated, “The Administration must do more to bring stranded Americans in Israel home.” She mentioned joining 44 colleagues in urging President Trump and Secretary Rubio for immediate intervention, stressing that families require “answers and a path to safety now.”
Later that day, she congratulated the Florida Panthers on their sports achievement, expressing her enthusiasm with the tweet: “Congrats to our Florida Panthers on winning their second straight Stanley Cup.” She highlighted this victory as significant for South Florida and its dedicated fans.
In another post on June 18, Rep. Frankel addressed international security concerns regarding Iran’s nuclear capabilities. She tweeted: “A nuclear-armed Iran poses an existential threat to Israel.” Expressing solidarity with Israel, she affirmed support for their right to self-defense against Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
Lois Frankel has been serving in Congress since 2013 after replacing Allen West. Her career also includes time in the Florida House of Representatives from 1986 to 2002. Born in New York City in 1948, she resides in West Palm Beach and holds degrees from Boston University and Georgetown University.
