U.S. Representative Lois Frankel, who serves Florida’s 22nd district in Congress, addressed a range of topics in recent social media posts between April 1 and April 2, 2026.
On April 1, Frankel advocated for the accessibility of vote-by-mail options, stating: “Vote-by-mail is a practical, reliable option for seniors, caregivers, overseas military, and people juggling busy lives. Make it harder to get a ballot, and fewer people vote. It’s that simple.”
Later that evening, she marked the beginning of Passover with a message reflecting on resilience and tradition: “Chag Pesach Sameach! As we gather tonight to celebrate Passover, we retell the story of the Jewish people’s journey from slavery to freedom. Just as our ancestors navigated the challenges of the past, we too can persevere with strength and hope.” This post was published on April 1.
On April 2, Frankel commented on Pam Bondi’s actions regarding former President Donald Trump and called for her testimony before Congress: “Pam Bondi embarrassed herself—and our country—by doing Donald Trump’s bidding. More than ever, her subpoenaed testimony before the Oversight Committee is essential. Accountability demands it.”
Frankel has represented Florida’s 22nd district since 2013 after succeeding Allen West. She previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 1986 to 2002. Born in New York City in 1948 and currently residing in West Palm Beach at age 74, Frankel holds degrees from Boston University (BA) and Georgetown University (JD).
