Lois Frankel, who represents Florida’s 22nd District in Congress, recently shared her opinions on several current issues through a series of tweets. Frankel has served in Congress since 2013, succeeding Allen West. She has a legal background with a BA from Boston University and a JD from Georgetown University.

On April 30, 2025, Frankel expressed through her tweet her support for House Democrats Leader Hakeem Jeffries as he commented on what Frankel describes as Donald Trump’s “disastrous” first 100 days in office. “Not a fan of Trump’s chaos and rising costs? Tune in here as Leader Jeffries delivers a blueprint for a better America,” she stated, inviting followers to view the live broadcast.

Later that day, Frankel tweeted her critique of the Trump administration’s economic impact. She claimed, “Trump promised to lower your costs. But in just 100 days, he took a strong economy and drove it toward a recession. Prices are rising, the stock market is shrinking—all while Congressional Republicans line up another massive tax break for their billionaire buddies.”

In a separate note, Frankel reflected on Israel’s 77th year of independence, indicating her sentiments on the ongoing bond between the U.S. and Israel. She conveyed, “As Israel marks 77 years of independence this Yom Ha’atzmaut, I’m reflecting on the resilience of the Jewish people and the enduring strength of the U.S.-Israel bond. The United States stands with Israel today and every day.” This tweet emphasizes her commitment to the strong relations between the two nations.

Lois Frankel continues her work from West Palm Beach, Florida, advocating for both domestic and international concerns pertinent to her constituents and beyond.
