U.S. Representative Lois Frankel, who represents Florida’s 22nd district in Congress, announced a virtual town hall to address the GOP-led government shutdown and health care issues. Frankel invited constituents to join her and Congresswoman Shontel Brown for the event scheduled for Thursday at noon.

Frankel has served as U.S. Representative for Florida’s 22nd District since 2013, after succeeding Allen West. She previously spent more than a decade in the Florida House of Representatives from 1986 to 2002. Born in New York City in 1948, Frankel currently resides in West Palm Beach. She holds a BA from Boston University and earned her JD from Georgetown University.
