Rep. Lois Frankel, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Florida’s 22nd district since 2013, posted several statements on her official Twitter account on November 6 and 7, 2025, addressing topics ranging from political leadership to social policy.
On November 6, Frankel expressed gratitude toward former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi by posting: “Determined. Courageous. Brilliant. Thank you, Speaker Pelosi.”
Later that day, she made a pointed remark about Republican lawmakers with the post: “**knock knock** ‘Who’s there?’ Not Republicans!” This tweet appeared to comment on the absence or actions of Republican members in Congress.
On November 7, Frankel criticized the Trump Administration’s approach to social welfare programs, writing: “The Trump Admin is going to court to get out of sending SNAP benefits to millions of Americans. Trump found $40 billion to bail out Argentina but refuses to provide a dime to keep American children, families, and seniors from going hungry.”
Frankel has served in Congress since replacing Allen West in 2013 and previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives from 1986 to 2002. Born in New York City in 1948 and currently residing in West Palm Beach at age 74, Frankel earned her undergraduate degree from Boston University and a law degree from Georgetown University.
