Lois Frankel, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 22nd district, recently shared her views on several pressing issues through a series of tweets. Frankel, who has been serving in Congress since 2013 after replacing Allen West, addressed topics ranging from international conflicts to domestic social matters.
On June 2, 2025, Frankel condemned an attack on individuals marching in Boulder to raise awareness for hostages held by Hamas. She expressed her solidarity with the victims and called for a thorough investigation into the incident. “I stand in solidarity and look forward to a full investigation and accountability,” she stated.
Later that day, Frankel celebrated Pride Month by acknowledging the resilience and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community. “To our LGBTQ+ friends and neighbors: I see you, I stand with you,” she affirmed, emphasizing her commitment to supporting their rights.
In another tweet on June 2, Frankel criticized a proposed bill that would delay weapon transfers necessary for Israel’s defense. She argued that such legislation sends an inappropriate message amid ongoing threats faced by Israel.
Lois Frankel was born in New York City in 1948 and currently resides in West Palm Beach. Her educational background includes a BA from Boston University and a JD from Georgetown University. Before joining Congress, she served in the Florida House of Representatives from 1986 to 2002.
