Lois Frankel, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 22nd District since 2013, recently addressed several pressing issues via social media posts. Her tweets on March 24, 2025, covered topics ranging from international hostages to local education and public services.

In a tweet dated March 24, 2025, Frankel highlighted the situation of American Edan Alexander and other hostages held in Gaza by Hamas. She emphasized that “the first step toward a lasting peace is Hamas’s immediate release of every hostage.” She called for action with the hashtag #BringThemHomeNow.

Later that day, Frankel addressed educational concerns related to an executive order by former President Trump. In her tweet at 18:53 UTC, she criticized the move to dismantle the Department of Education. According to her post, “gutting the Dept. of Education means firing teachers and abandoning the 190,000 K-12 students in Palm Beach County who rely on public schools for their future.” She expressed solidarity with educators and parents opposing this order.

Frankel also defended the United States Postal Service (USPS) against privatization efforts in a tweet posted at 20:05 UTC on March 24. She stated that “privatizing @USPS would risk delays to your medicine, Social Security checks, and even your vote-by-mail ballots.” The congresswoman underscored her support for postal workers and the millions who depend on this service.
