Rep. Lois Frankel, who represents Florida’s 22nd district in the U.S. Congress, has recently addressed topics ranging from foreign assistance to local safety measures and national economic trends in a series of posts on her official social media account.
On March 10, 2026, Frankel stated: “Foreign assistance is not a handout. Support for humanitarian and development efforts worldwide are strategic investments in America’s national security and prosperity. In the year since President Trump dismantled USAID and gutted our foreign aid infrastructure, we have”.
The following day, on March 11, she commented on the state of the U.S. economy: “Trump promised a stronger economy. Instead, the U.S. lost 92,000 jobs month and unemployment is rising. Americans deserve leadership focused on creating good-paying jobs and strengthening our economy, not reckless policies that make the affordability crisis worse.”
On March 12, Frankel provided an update regarding public safety at the county level: “I have been assured by Sheriff Bradshaw that appropriate precautions have been taken in our county.”
Frankel has served as a member of Congress since 2013 after replacing Allen West and previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives from 1986 to 2002. She was born in New York City in 1948 and currently resides in West Palm Beach at age 74. Frankel holds degrees from Boston University (BA) and Georgetown University (JD).
