Florida Atlantic men’s golf finished ninth out of 15 teams at the UNCW Seahawk Intercollegiate in Wilmington, North Carolina, on March 31. The tournament was won by host team UNCW with a score of -18, finishing nine shots ahead of Duke.

The result places Florida Atlantic in the middle of the field as they prepare for their next events. Individual performances from Guilherme Grinberg and Biagio Gagliardi stood out during Tuesday’s final round.

Grinberg was the team’s top finisher, tying for 11th place among 88 competitors. He birdied five of his first nine holes on Tuesday and completed his round with a score of 71, marking his third Top 15 finish this season. Gagliardi also made a strong showing by shooting a second-nine score of 32 and matching Grinberg’s final-round total with a birdie streak that helped him tie for 16th place overall.

Other team members included Louka Morin (tied for 44th), NaShawn Tyson (tied for 62nd), and Christian Veilleux (tied for 68th). Their combined efforts contributed to the team’s overall placement in the tournament standings.

Looking ahead, Florida Atlantic will participate in its final event before the American Conference Championship at the Tarheel Intercollegiate hosted by North Carolina on April 11-12.
