Former Palm Beach Central High School standout Freddy Rodriguez played on Friday, June 6 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship

On Friday, June 6, former Palm Beach Central High School standout Freddy Rodriguez’s current collegiate team the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers won 7-6 against the Auburn Tigers in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Hitchcock Field at Plainsman Park at 8 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Auburn Tigers in the tournament.

The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers’ next game will take place on Saturday, June 7 at 2:05 p.m. at Hitchcock Field at Plainsman Park.
