The Florida Atlantic University women’s tennis team marked a day of celebration on April 6, beginning with recognition of four-year senior Maya Shanok and the No. 27 nationally ranked 2025 NCAA team. The festivities continued as the squad secured a narrow 4-3 victory over Tulane later that day.

The day’s events highlighted both individual and collective accomplishments within the program. Honoring Shanok underscored her contributions during her tenure, while celebrating the team’s national ranking reflected their performance throughout the season.

In addition to their on-court success, members of the Owls gathered in the evening for a celebratory event that included acknowledgment of achievements and gift giving. The occasion provided an opportunity for players, coaches, and supporters to reflect on their progress.

A photo gallery documenting moments from the Celebration Tennis Dinner was also made available to commemorate the event.

As they look ahead, Florida Atlantic’s women’s tennis program will continue building on these milestones.
