The Florida Atlantic University women’s track and field team achieved a new program record in the distance medley relay (DMR) during the first day of the 2026 American Indoor Conference Championships held in Birmingham, Alabama.
Senior Anabell Reumann qualified for the 1-mile run final with a time of 4:59.98 at the Birmingham Crossplex. In the 800-meter dash, Rosa ten Berg finished fourth overall, advancing to the next round with a time of 2:09.90. Senior Adrianna Mier also competed in the 800-meter dash, setting a personal best of 2:12.39, continuing her trend of improving times throughout this indoor season.
Richelle Williams set her personal best in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.86 seconds.
To close out day one, ten Berg, Laura Kuhn, Adrianna Mier, and Teegan Anderson established a new DMR program record with a time of 11:41.67.
The team will return for day two of competition to conclude their indoor season at the conference championships.
