Florida Atlantic women’s track concludes regular season at Gainesville Indoor Classic

The Florida Atlantic University women’s track and field team finished its regular season at the 2026 Gainesville Indoor Classic on Friday in Gainesville, Florida. The Owls participated in eight events, including the 400-meter dash, mile, 800-meter run, 60-meter dash, 600-meter run, 200-meter dash, 4×400-meter relay, and the distance medley relay.

Jada Bolhuis led the team in the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.27 seconds, placing her 13th overall. In the mile event, Anabell Reumann and Madison Brown both finished in the top five; Reumann took third place with a time of 5:00.56 while Brown came in fifth at 5:05.46.

Rosa ten Berg and Adrianna Mier set new program records in the 800-meter run. Ten Berg improved her No. 2 all-time mark to a time of 2:08.86. Mier entered the record book for this event for the first time and now holds eighth place with a time of 2:13.24. Freshman Sophie Dethier ran her first collegiate race in this event and finished seventh overall at 2:17.81.

Senior Camilla Nicholas achieved another personal best and set a program record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.53 seconds, which places her fourth in school history for that event.

Laura Kuhn posted a season-best performance by finishing third overall in the 600-meter run with a time of 1:41.26.

In relay events, FAU’s team—consisting of Bolhuis, Richelle Williams, Nicholas, and Joelle White—finished third in the 4×400 relay with a combined time of 3:52.03. In the distance medley relay (DMR), ten Berg, Kuhn, Mier, and Teegan Anderson recorded an overall time of 11:53.23 to secure fourth place on FAU’s all-time list for that event.

The next competition for Florida Atlantic will be at the American Conference Indoor Championships scheduled from February 27 to February 28 in Birmingham, Alabama.

“Senior Camilla Nicholas with another stellar performance as she set another personal best and program record in the 60-meter dash Nicholas is now fourth in the record book (7 .53).”

“In the 600 meter run Laura Kuhn finished third overall with a time of 1 :41 .26 for a season best.”

“The Owls placed third in The4x400 relay (Bolhuis Richelle Williams Nicholas Joelle White)witha3 :52 .03.”

“In The DMR ten Berg Kuhn Mierand Teegan Anderson ran an11 :53 .23 to place themselves as No .4in program history.”
