The Florida Atlantic University women’s track and field team is in Boston to compete at the 2026 John Thomas Terrier Classic, hosted by Boston University on Friday, January 30. This marks the third consecutive season that the Owls have traveled north for this major indoor meet, which will be streamed live on FloTrack.
The event brings together a wide range of teams from across the country, including schools such as Stanford, BYU, Colorado, and Boston College. Florida Atlantic joins more than 50 other institutions for one of the largest competitions of the indoor track season.

Madison Brown and Morgan Pennington finished closely in 10th and 11th place respectively in the mile, while redshirt freshman Reese Anderson achieved her own personal best for Florida Atlantic with a time of 5:15.94.
In sprint events at that meet, Camilla Nicholas finished fifth overall in the finals of the 60-meter dash with a new personal best of 7.63 seconds. She also placed third out of sixty runners in the 200-meter dash.
