Florida Atlantic University’s women’s golf team is in 10th place after the second day of play at the PING/ASU Invitational in Phoenix, according to a March 24 update.
The team’s performance is notable as they compete against other schools in Arizona. The event highlights individual achievements and overall team progress through the tournament’s first two rounds.
Charlotte Perkins made a significant move up the leaderboard, climbing more than 20 spots with a second-round score of 70, which was two under par. Perkins recorded three birdies and one bogey on Tuesday, along with fourteen pars. Nancy Cox, a sophomore, is tied for 21st entering the final round after posting a score of 73 that included three birdies and four bogeys.
Other scores for Florida Atlantic include Carolin Alblas at +3 (40th), Tina Genoulaz at +8 (64th), and Maddie Rathjen at +15 (83rd). Live hole-by-hole scoring is available on Clippd Scoreboard for those following the tournament remotely.
