Florida Atlantic softball prepares for new season with high expectations

Florida Atlantic University’s softball team held a media session on Tuesday in Boca Raton ahead of the 2026 season. Head Coach Jordan Clark was joined by seniors Autumn Courtney, Jesiana Mora, Cameryn Orland, and Chloe Yeatts for the event, which was broadcast on ESPN+.

The team is preparing for its opening game against Indiana on Thursday, February 5 at 6 p.m. Expectations are high as the Owls aim to secure their third straight American Conference regular season title and another NCAA Regional appearance.

During the press conference, Clark and the players addressed how they plan to manage expectations and handle challenges throughout the upcoming season. Coach Clark said, “We are building something special with the 2026 Owls.” Senior Autumn Courtney discussed her goals following her All-American campaign: “I am looking to build on my All-American campaign.” Jesiana Mora reflected on her time with the program: “There has been significant growth of the program during my time at Florida Atlantic.” Cameryn Orland spoke about managing pressure: “Handling pressure is key for us this season.” Chloe Yeatts commented on team spirit: “The energy of the Owls is something we all feed off.”
