The Florida Atlantic University men’s tennis team defeated the Delaware Blue Hens 4-0 on March 26 in Boca Raton, Florida.

This win brings Florida Atlantic’s season record to 8-10 and maintains their undefeated streak against Delaware, now standing at 2-0 all-time. Delaware’s record falls to 12-5 after the match.

In doubles play, Lucca Pignaton and Vanja Hodzic secured a victory on court two with a score of 6-3. The doubles point was clinched shortly after by Simon Myslivec and Lucca Acioly, who won their match on court three by a score of 6-2. In singles competition, Marek Pazdera contributed to the team’s lead with a straight-set win on court two (6-1, 6-4). Simon Myslivec followed with another point for the Owls after winning his first set in a tiebreaker and closing out the second set at 6-4. Jan Kusy finished his match on court four with scores of 7-6(7-3), 6-0 as the team’s fight song played. Several other matches were abandoned once FAU had secured enough points for victory.
