Florida Atlantic University’s men’s golf team will take part in the UNCW Seahawk Intercollegiate starting Mar. 29 at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, North Carolina.

The event is significant for the team as it brings together a field of 15 teams and 88 individual golfers. The competition begins with two rounds on Monday, followed by a final round on Tuesday, with shotgun starts scheduled for both days at 8:45 a.m.

Florida Atlantic will maintain its top four players from their recent tournament in Tallahassee: Louka Morin, NaShawn Tyson, Biagio Gagliardi, and Guilherme Grinberg. Sophomore Christian Veilleux joins them as the fifth player. Tyson enters this year’s tournament as the defending champion after winning last season when the event was held at Cape Fear Country Club.

The Nicklaus tournament course set for this week’s play is a par-72 layout stretching over 7,030 yards. Among other participating teams are nationally ranked Duke (#26), UNCW (#51), Stetson (#68), and Xavier (#96).

Fans can follow live hole-by-hole scoring on Clippd Scoreboard throughout the event. For additional coverage and updates about Florida Atlantic men’s golf, followers are encouraged to check out their X and Instagram accounts (@FAUMGolf).

As competition gets underway, observers will be watching to see if Tyson can defend his title and how Florida Atlantic’s lineup performs against strong national programs.
