Florida Atlantic University’s men’s golf team finished in a tie for seventh place out of 21 teams at the Seminole Intercollegiate, which concluded on March 17 in Tallahassee, Florida. The event was hosted by Florida State University.

The tournament saw Florida State secure the team title with a score of 12 under par, finishing well ahead of Southern Miss, who placed second. Anders Larson from Eastern Kentucky earned individual medalist honors with a score of seven under par.

Guilherme Grinberg led the Owls, tying for 22nd place after shooting rounds of 76, 71, and 75. Grinberg’s final round included four birdies. Sophomore Jack Brugman recorded the team’s best final round performance with an even-par 72. Other notable finishes for Florida Atlantic included Louka Morin and Biagio Gagliardi, both tying for 37th place with total scores of 225. Nashawn Tyson tied for 45th with a score of 228, while Brugman finished tied for 82nd overall.

The team will continue its season with two more events before competing in the American Conference Championship in late April. Their next appearance will be at the UNCW Seahawk Intercollegiate in Wilmington, North Carolina on March 30-31. Tyson is set to defend his individual title from last season at that event.
