Florida Atlantic men’s golf finishes tenth at Sam Ryder Intercollegiate

Florida Atlantic University’s men’s golf team finished 10th at the Sam Ryder Intercollegiate in Daytona Beach on Monday. The event was hosted by Stetson University, which won the tournament with a score of 13-under-par, finishing 21 shots ahead of Baylor.

On the final day, Florida Atlantic moved up three places in the standings. NaShawn Tyson led the team with a round of 71, one under par, which helped him climb 20 spots to finish 34th individually. Guilherme Grinberg and Biagio Gagliardi also improved their positions after shooting rounds of 72 and 73 respectively. Each of these three players recorded four birdies in their last round.

After a week off, Florida Atlantic will compete next at the Seminole Intercollegiate in Tallahassee from March 15 to March 17.
