Florida Atlantic University’s head football coach, Zach Kittley, announced that his coaching staff will remain unchanged as the team heads into spring practice. Kittley, who took over as head coach last year, emphasized the importance of continuity for the upcoming season.
Defensive tackles coach Devin Santana will expand his role to include run game coordination while continuing to oversee defensive tackles. Santana’s group includes several returning players with significant playing time from last season, such as 2025 team captain and sack leader C.J. Doggette Jr.
Bryson Breeding is returning to the strength and conditioning staff and has been promoted to associate head strength and conditioning coach.
Margot Kessler, a Boca Raton native who started her career supporting the academic needs of the football program, completed her first season with the staff. She will now work more closely with Coach Kittley in her new roles as assistant director of football operations & recruiting and assistant to the head coach.
Athletic training fellows Ciara Celestino and Raleigh Illig have both been elevated to assistant athletic trainers.
New members joining Kittley’s staff include Xavier Dampeer, a former Auburn offensive lineman, who will serve as assistant strength & conditioning coach. Josh Geller, an FAU Sport Management MBA graduate, has been named assistant director of video & technology. Dylan Heinen, previously a graphic designer for FAU Athletics, will become the team’s director of football creative.
