The No. 13 Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball team will host the Florida Atlantic Beach Invitational on March 14 and 15 at the Pompano Beach Pier in Pompano Beach, Florida.

The event will feature matches against several top-ranked teams. On Saturday, March 14, Florida Atlantic will face No. 7 Florida State at 8 a.m., followed by a match against No. 6 Texas Christian University at 10 a.m. The competition continues on Sunday, March 15, with the Owls playing No. 3 University of Southern California at 10 a.m., and concluding the weekend against Tampa at 2 p.m.

The Sandy Owls enter the tournament with a record of ten wins and two losses overall, including an undefeated record in Conference USA play. The team recently finished a successful weekend at the Chanticleer Challenge, securing victories over Tulane, Coastal Carolina, and Georgia State but falling to No. 4 Cal Poly.

Historically, Florida Atlantic has not yet defeated Florida State in their previous meetings, with the Seminoles leading the all-time series between the programs. Against Texas Christian University, FAU holds four wins to eight losses all-time. The Trojans from USC have won all eight previous encounters with FAU. In contrast, FAU has had more success against Tampa, winning five out of six past matches.
