The Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball team won both of its matches on March 21 in Jacksonville, defeating No. 17 North Florida 3-2 and sweeping Saint Leo 5-0 at the Cooper Beach Volleyball Complex.

These victories bring Florida Atlantic’s season record to 13-7. North Florida now stands at 11-8, while Saint Leo moves to 10-3. The Owls’ performance included key wins from several pairs, with Reese Edwards and Kendall Mignerey securing the first point against North Florida and again leading off with a win against Saint Leo. Denisse Morgenstern and Shantel Starling also contributed straight-set victories in both matches, while Mia Scanlon and Klaire VanDeusen clinched the match against North Florida.

In the match versus North Florida, Edwards and Mignerey won their sets on court four (21-17, 21-15), followed by Morgenstern and Starling on court one (21-14, 21-15). Looking ahead, the Sandy Owls will travel to Texas next weekend for the Texas Invitational where they are scheduled to face USC, Long Beach State, Stanford, and UCLA.
