Florida Atlantic Athletics announced on April 7 the schedule for its annual Hometown Team Tour, with events planned in Deerfield Beach, Delray Beach, and Coral Springs later this month and in early May.
The tour offers fans a chance to interact with Florida Atlantic University head coaches and staff. Attendees can participate in question-and-answer sessions, enjoy giveaways and prizes, and purchase official team merchandise.
The first event will take place at The Cove Brewery in Deerfield Beach on Tuesday, April 21. The tour continues the following week at Johnnie Brown’s on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach on Tuesday, April 28. The final stop is scheduled for Miller’s Ale House in Coral Springs on Wednesday, May 13. All events are set from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Zach Kittley, Head Men’s Basketball Coach John Jakus, Head Women’s Basketball Coach LeAnn Freeland, Vice President and Director of Athletics Brian White, along with other head coaches and FAU staff members are expected to attend each event.
Fans interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP to help organizers prepare for the gatherings.
