Florida Atlantic University women’s basketball guard Erin Rodgers has been named to the American Conference Honorable Mention list for the second time this season, according to an announcement from the league office on Monday.
This recognition is Rodgers’ fifth career conference honor and her second honorable mention selection. It also marks the fifth weekly award received by a member of the Owls this season.
Rodgers contributed significantly in two recent games, helping Florida Atlantic secure victories over Wichita State and Tulsa. Over these contests, she scored a total of 35 points, averaging 17.5 points per game. She also recorded six rebounds, four blocks, three steals, and one assist.
In the matchup against Wichita State, Rodgers delivered a crucial performance by scoring the game-winning and-1 basket and making a key block that sealed the overtime win. She finished with 24 points—her second-highest career total—and achieved her fourth career 20-point game. Her shooting included 8-of-16 from the field, 1-of-3 from three-point range, and a personal best of seven free throws made. Additionally, she tallied two blocks, two rebounds, and one assist in that game.
Against Tulsa, Rodgers added 11 points while shooting 5-of-12 from the field and making one free throw. She also contributed four rebounds, three steals, and two blocks during that victory.
The Owls will play their next game on Tuesday, February 17th at East Carolina’s Minges Coliseum. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
